TIP & HINTS

Energy & Water saving

If you use a dishwasher, you can save energy and water as well as dishwashing.

The results of the microbial reduction in three microorganisms, including the yellow trapezoid bacteria, showed that dishwasher is 100 times more hygienic than hand dishes.

Water saving effect

For hand dishes, about six times as much water is consumed as for dishwashers.
The study found that the water usage of hand washing machines averaged 16.6 L, compared with 101.2 L on average.
Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have introduced and sold dishwashers that charge only about 25 to 20 won per month for one use per day or that use of water is one-tenth as much as hand dishes.

Electric saving effect

Hand washing with hot water consumes about 2.3 times more electricity than using a dishwasher.
Compared to the average use of hand washing electricity (hot water) at 2.44 kwh, the average electricity use for dishwashers is 1.06 kwh.
